Dr. Manuel Oliveira is part of the Serennia team in the area of ​​Psychology, mainly working with children and adolescents in different challenges related to emotional well-being, personal development, socio-emotional skills, and the school context.
He believes in a close, preventive, and person-centered intervention, promoting the development of skills that contribute to well-being, autonomy, and healthier relationships. His practice is based on valuing individual resources and collaborating with families, schools, and other stakeholders whenever necessary.
In addition to Psychology, he works as a musician, composer, and trainer, integrating creativity, artistic expression, and human connection as enriching elements of his professional practice.

Formação e Experiência

He holds a degree in Psychology from the Instituto Superior da Maia (now the University of Maia) and has specializations in Educational Psychology, Social, Work and Organizational Psychology, and Community Psychology.
Throughout his professional career, he has worked primarily in school, community, and social intervention contexts, supporting children, young people, families, and educational teams. He has held positions in various school clusters, participated in national community intervention projects, and was part of structures within the Portuguese Order of Psychologists related to the development of professional specializations.
He is the author of intervention programs in the areas of socio-emotional skills and mindfulness, aimed at children, young people, teachers and other professionals in the educational context, maintaining ongoing training in the areas of mindfulness, group dynamics, community intervention and the development of socio-emotional skills.
