Dr. Renata Santos is part of the Serennia team in the Speech Therapy area, working with children, adolescents, and adults.
With over 30 years of professional experience, she develops a personalized intervention in the areas of communication, language, speech, voice, swallowing, and orofacial motor skills, promoting an approach based on scientific evidence and adapted to the needs of each person. She prioritizes working in conjunction with the family and other professionals on the team, contributing to integrated and person-centered care.

Formação e Experiência

Graduated in Speech-Language Pathology from the Alcoitão Higher School of Health and holds a Master's degree in Logopedics from the University of Catalonia.
She has an Advanced Specialization in Orofacial Motricity and specific training in Oropharyngeal Dysphagia (children and adults), Brazilian Sign Language, Child Nutrition Coaching in Speech-Language Pathology, intervention in deafness, voice disorders, early intervention and neurodevelopmental disorders, maintaining continuous scientific updating in the different areas of Speech-Language Pathology.
Throughout her professional career, she has worked in clinical, hospital, educational and university settings, accumulating vast experience in the assessment and intervention of children and adults with communication, language, speech, voice and swallowing disorders. For two years she was part of a Local Intervention Team (ELI) of the National System for Early Childhood Intervention (SNIPI), where she worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Case Mediator, supporting children aged 0 to 6 years with developmental disorders or at risk of developmental disorders, as well as their families, in home, educational and community settings. She also has experience in supporting children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, integrating multidisciplinary teams and developing an intervention coordinated with families, schools and other health professionals.
