Pediatric Osteopathy
Caring for development from the first months of life and supporting families.
Pediatric Osteopathy supports babies and children through a gentle, individualized manual approach, seeking to promote their comfort, functional balance, and harmonious development.
At Serennia, we value an intervention focused on the well-being of the child and family, respecting each stage of development and promoting, whenever this articulation benefits the follow-up, joint work with other areas of the team.
How can we help you?
How does the consultation take place?
The consultation begins with a conversation with the parents or caregivers, seeking to understand the main concern that motivated the search for help. Throughout this conversation, we seek to better understand the child and the family dynamics and, in the case of babies, also to understand how the first weeks of parenthood were, in order to understand how we can support the family during this phase. This is followed by a detailed assessment and, whenever indicated, the application of gentle manual techniques, adapted to the age, the signs and symptoms presented and, above all, the predisposition of each baby or child. At the end of the consultation, personalized recommendations are provided for home use, which may include massages, exercises or other care that parents or caregivers can perform to complement the follow-up and promote the well-being of the baby or child.
